Shad turned 25 on January 23rd. He's such an old man! Just kidding! We had a lot of fun celebrating his birthday! We both had the day off work so we spent the whole day together. I had the whole day planned out...but it didn't go quite as planned. But that's okay, Shad told me it was the best birthday!
I had planned for us to go ice skating at the Peaks..but we left the house to late (my fault) and missed the public skate. So we ended up just going to the mall and buying him a pair of new church shoes to match his new pants he got for Christmas and sports jacket my parents are buying him! After the mall we killed time and then went to dinner at Texas Road House. This is his favorite place to eat. I had invited a few of our friends, but didn't tell Shad that anyone else was coming. He was pretty surprised when everyone showed up! We had a blast at dinner, they sang to him and made him sit in the saddle. It was so funny! After dinner we went over to our friend Krista's house and played games with her and her husband. It was so much fun spending time with friends! We don't do it often enough! All in all his Birthday turned out to be really fun!
