Today I am officially 6 weeks along in my pregnancy! Our baby is the size of a lentil (about 1/4 inch). How tiny!! I can already feel my body changing. It's so weird to think that I have a little baby growing inside me. I love it! I cannot wait to hear the heart beat! I really wish my Doctor wasn't so popular and busy so I could get in sooner. But I guess January 24 will do. Haha I'm just so excited!!
I have been craving Pizza for the past 2 weeks..and FINALLY got some last night. (thanks to my dad) But sadly it didn't settle well. I think that's the last Pizza I eat for awhile. Which makes me super sad because I love pizza! A few days ago Shad and I got Philly Cheese Steaks and that made me sick too..I'm thinking our baby is a little on the picky side! lol I'm just happy I haven't thrown up at all. I just get a stomach ache that goes away within a few hours. The thought and smell of chocolate makes me sick too. But the smell of fresh fruit sounds amazing! Veggies too! I can eat as many of those as I want and never get sick! Canned pears are another huge craving of mine! I eat them all the time..our food storage is going to run out really quick! But I guess craving the healthy stuff is better then eating and craving a bunch of garbage. I love it!
Telling our family that we are expecting a baby was so much fun! I loved seeing their faces or hearing the smiles in their voices. Everyone is just as excited for us as we had hoped they would be. The reason why we told everyone as soon as we did is because Shad's Grandma Bond is not doing well, she is in the hospital at this time. She's expected to pass away any day. So Shad really wanted to tell her before she left this world. So we did. And as a result we ended up telling everyone in our families. When we told Grammy Bond that we are expecting she got so excited and her smile was so big! It was a special moment for her and Shad (I let him tell her by himself while I sat on the other side of the room). Both our parents are super excited as well! My mom started crying when I told her, and my dad couldn't stop smiling! He has told everyone we come in contact with that he will be grandpa to 4 kids this time next year! He is so cute about it! I could not be more excited to have parents who support me and are happy for me! We told Shad's Grandma Anderson on Christmas and she started yelling to the other family in the house to tell them. She was upset we took so long to tell her. But she said she is way excited for us and can't wait to meet her Great Grandchild. That made Shad really happy. We feel so blessed to have the family and friends that we do! Thank you all for your support and kind words!
