Unexpected Surprises...

So it's been a few since I last got on here and updated things. Shad and I are still up to the same things. We finally got to go on a date Friday night! That was so fun! We went to the movies and say Percy Jackson and The Olympians. We liked it a lot. Medusa creeped me out so bad though! I couldn't even look at her head, it was so gross! Great effects though!

We loved getting out of the house and spending some time together. The best nights are those that you don't pay for! Thanks Cona for the gift certificate! :)

Life at home is a little crazy with all of us living there. Fixing meals, doing laundry, cleaning the house, and all the other fun stuff of living in a home. :) We love it though. Shad and I are getting a chance to get really close to my parents. We are spending a lot of time with them doing things we all enjoy and we have a ton of fun. On Saturday they took Shad and I to a play and Desert Star Theaters.

This play was soooo funny! I love this play house...if you haven't been to a play there you really need to go! They are so fun! :) There is another play that Shad and I really want to go to. We are saving up are money so we can go. :)

Some fun stuff has happened...mom and dad got a rack for the boat! I'm so excited for boating season to be here now! Not that I wasn't already. ha I'm so ready for some warm weather and sun. :) Also Shad got approved for his GI Bill and we got our first check! So happy that we won't have to pay for his loans out of pocket! :) We are also looking forward to his re-up bonus to come so we can get me a new car and put away a nice down payment for his truck! He is so excited to get a truck.

Shad and I will be putting on a benefit concert for Breast Cancer. All the proceeds will go towards research. We will be doing a silent auction and then possibly a concert. Right now I am going through all the legal stuff to make this legit and legal. We are really excited to do this and raise some awareness and hopefully some money to go towards research. So if you have anything that you would like to donate towards the auction just let me know! We would love any help anyone is willing to give. :) I will keep everyone updated on those events as they unfold. :)

If you know of anyone that has Breast Cancer let them know how much you love them and give them hugs as often as possible.

  1. I had no idea about your mom. I'm so glad she is doing well. Something like that sure makes you appreciate your mom more. When I was a freshman in high school, my mom got diagnosed with thyroid cancer and she had to do all of the radiation, staying in the hospital thing. It was pretty scary. I'm so glad you're mom is doing better :)
