.Live.Love.Laugh...and maybe cry sometimes.

Time sure does fly by when you're having fun! These past few weeks have been rough but so much fun. I've been able to get so much closer to my parents and my husband! :) I love my family so much and I would do anything for them. My mom is the best mother anyone could ever ask for. She does anything to make sure I'm happy and that I have everything I need. Even though I'm married she still helps me with pretty much everything from cooking to doing laundry. It's wonderful having a mother that really cares about you.

On February 12, 2010 my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We were are and still are way shocked that this happened since Breast Cancer does not run in our family. We've grown so much as a family since we found out and we are doing everything possible to make my mom feel comfortable in her own home. She is such a strong woman! She amazes me with how well she is doing! On March 19, 2010 mom had surgery to remove the tumor. She spent one night in the hospital, my dad stayed the night with her and she had lots of visitors. I stayed at the hospital for most of the day to entertain my dad and make sure he ate lunch and dinner and stayed hydrated. :) I love my dad. He loves my mom sooo so much! He's so cute with her, he wouldn't let do anything without him right there helping her. I love watching them together. I hope that Shad and I are that much in love when we are married for 26 years!
Anyways...My mom is doing great! She is feeling better and getting her energy back. She is far from being done though! She has a long rough road ahead of her. But she is strong and will make it through just fine! I have so much faith that she will be here for many years to come. We are thinking positive thoughts in our home and won't let anyone talk about the "what if's."

I support Breast Cancer
