I can't believe my little baby is no longer a little baby anymore! He hit double digits yesterday!! How did this happen? ;) Time goes by so fast! In just 2 short months we will be celebrating his 1st Birthday!
Hayzen -- you are getting so big! You are so brave when it comes to standing by yourself, crawling up the stairs and standing on the steps without holding onto anything! You sure know how to give your mama a heart attach. But I love watching you grow and learn new things! You know a couple of signs which is so fun! You know how to say Mama and Dada really well! You are starting to say Dog which is so fun!! You love dogs! Monty doesn't love when you pounce on him...but he's getting used to it. Tink runs whenever you move close to her, it's so funny! She will love you more when you aren't attacking her. :) Cinch would like you all day every day if we'd let him! And Daisy loves you so much, she would play with you any day! It's so fun that everywhere you go there's a dog! haha
You took your second camping trip!! (your first was when you were just a few weeks old) You had a blast at the cabin over Memorial Weekend. You got mad at me for taking the rocks, dirt, tree bark, and other wonderful outdoor things out of your mouth. I do this because I love you. One day you will understand. :) You got to ride in the RZR for the first time and you loved it! We went on lots of rides and you were so good during all of them. You loved sticking your head out the side and reaching for the tree branches. You even took a long nap on one of our longer rides. :) We put you in your playpen out by the fire so you could do your own thing and not be getting into the ashes or other stuff around the fire pit. You weren't to sure about being in there alone, but after a little bit you got used to it and loved being able to crawl around and be "free". Grandma and Grandpa Eldredge bought you a swing and daddy put it up in a tree for you. You loved swinging, you always have a huge grin on your face! The camping trip must have worn you out pretty good because you slept all the way home!
You are so close to walking! I can't believe it! You pull yourself up on everything and stand by yourself. Your balance gets better everyday! You walk with your toys and holding mom or dads hands. Soon you won't need us right there in order for you to walk by yourself! I'm so happy and excited for you to learn all these new things. But it makes me sad knowing that my little newborn baby is no longer! So don't mind me when I'm crying and clapping at the same time when you do something new and exciting by yourself. :)
At your 9 month appointment you were 17lbs 11oz and 28inches long! The doctor was amazed at some of the things you are already doing! In other words...you are well advanced for you age and for how small you are!
People always tell me how big you are...when in reality you are so much smaller than most 10 month old! But we love you just the same. :)
I get told all the time that you should be a baby model! People love to hold you and stare at you. And you love to TALK to anyone and everyone.
You say Mama and Dada all the time. You say bottle...or what sounds like bottle when you are hungry. You know a few signs...milk and more.
You give the best *kisses* :) Open mouthed and closed mouth...you go back and forth. But I love them no matter what. You give everyone *hugs* and play "nice baby" (your second cousin Sarah taught you this)
You love to play in the water and splash around. You could care less about any toys in the water with you as long as you can splash. You think it's so funny when you splash water on your face! You will crack up laughing at yourself. I love it!!
Your favorites in life:
--Fruit...I have yet to find a fruit that you don't like!
--Turkey Steaks is a huge hit with you!
--Pancakes, waffles, toast/bread, EGGS and french toast are a few of your favorite breakfast foods
--Going on walks or a run with me in your stroller
--You sippy cup...you prefer that over your bottle any day
--Standing up on your own...at first this scared me really bad, but I'm getting used to it!
--Cruising, you love to walk along anything. You hold my hand and walk with me. But you are a little to scared right now to do it all on your own...but you are sooo close!!
--Juice. You LOVE your juice!!
Other Updates:
--size 2 diapers still...but we have switched you pretty much all the way to cloth diapers!! We love it and so do you!
--Your clothes are kind of all over the place in sizes. You range from 6-12 months! :) It's amazing how every brand fits you different
--You still drink 4-5 bottles a day, we are on formula now since it became way to stressfull and hard to pump at work. :( makes me so sad to even talk about but it's okay.
--You LOVE food!! You would much rather only have 2 maybe 3 bottles a day and have a ton of big boy food for the rest of the day...we don't let this happen very often though
We are so excited to see what the future holds for you! But slow down baby! No need to hurry and grow up on me. I already miss so much every day that I'm at work!
