8 Month Update! :)

My little baby is no longer a little baby! He turned 8 months on 4/6, I can't believe it! He is such a cutie! I can't get over how cute he is...yes I know I'm his mother so that's a good thing. But oh my word he is just so dang adorable! ;) He has accomplished SOOO many milestones in just a short period of time. I swear he will be walking soon. ;) I hope not, I don't want him to grow up to fast, but that's not my choice sadly. haha

 

Milestones Achieved So Far

 

-crawling...NOT scooting-

-pulls himself up on everything-

-stands without wobbling-

-knows his limits with falling/sitting back down after standing-

-walks his feet forward when standing next to the couch or chair-

-climbs the stairs-

-drinks from his sippy cup without any problems-

-says dada and mama perfectly-

 

The day he climbed the stairs I wanted to cry. In my mind he's to little to do these things. Everyone I told said no way he's to small and way to young to be doing that! So to watch him go up the stairs was so fun to see, but so sad at the same time! The constant fight I have with myself over every milestone he achieves. I want him to grow up and experience new things...but then again I want him to stay my little baby. The problems of a mom ;)

 

Hayzen has 5 teeth, working on his 6th. He loves to crunch, bite, and chew anything that goes in his mouth. This includes my finger when I'm checking for more teeth or getting something out that doesn't belong there. PS...they hurt!

 

Hayzen loves everyone he meets. He doesn't have any stranger danger at the moment. Which I'm very happy about. He loves his grandparents on both sides so much! My parent's do have the advantage with us living with them right now. Hayzen's face lights up whenever my dad walks into the room and talks to him. At dinner Hayzen's highchair is between Shad and I and Hayzen has to be in view of my dad. I think it's because of his voice. But I love it and think it's so dang cute!

 

Hayzen is still breast fed, but he loves big people food also. He has not had any sugar yet, and I don't plan on him having any until he's at least 10 months.

He loves watching cartoon, we dont' watch very much TV as he is to young to be doing that. But he does like Mickey Mouse and other kid cartoon. Shad usually watches them with him so I can't name any! He loves playing on the floor with his toys! And he gets so excited when I get on the floor with him and play.
