25 Weeks!!

I have decided that it's really important for me to document the wonderful things about being pregnant. When Hayzen looks back at what I wrote while pregnant with him, I want him to know that I enjoyed it and that I loved him from the very beginning!

So here are some highlights of this pregnancy so far (written to Hayzen):

Feeling you move around and kick
Hearing your heartbeat

Watching my stomach grow

Shopping for you

Sewing baby quilts and burp clothes with my mom

Having multiple baby showers just to see all my wonderful friends and family

Seeing how much you are already loved by so many people

Being treated extra special by Shad

Reading to you at night

Feeling you dance around when listening to Shad sing and play guitar

Knowing that you are mine

My wonderful change of hair

Having an excuse to sleep in late

Having long talks with my mom about motherhood

Day dreaming about who you will look more like

Planning your newborn pictures

Knowing that your dad will be able to bless you

Dreaming about holding you in my arms

I am so excited to be a mother, I am scared to death about being in control of such a small human. But I'm excited for the adventure of watching you grow into your own personality and person. Shad and I sit up at nights dreaming about you and the day you will be born. Shad loves feeling you kick also. He says you always kick him when he comes home from work. That makes me smile. We both love you so much and can't wait for August to come so we can meet you!

This week marks 25 weeks along! It's crazy to think how fast it has gone by so far! I feel like we just found out that we are going to have a boy! And now we are planning the nursery and baby showers. It's insane!
