A little late...but that's okay. :)
Shad had to participate in Govorners day, just like every other year. This year I sad with my friend Megan and her two beautiful children! Her husband Ben is in Shad's unit, that's how we met. It was super hot sitting out on the field waiting for the event to start. But I LOVE watching every unit march in all lined up and show respect to our Govorner! I love seeing all the soldiers in their ACU's, it is the best scene in the whole world. I couldn't have felt safer! Well anyways...haha everyone already knows I'm obsessed with the military! That's what you get when it's drilled into your head since you were born!
I got to see a really good friend of mine too! That was really nice to catch up with him and hear about his cute little family! Thanks Jason for asking me to meet up with you! It was great to see you after sooo long!

After the event Shad and I went to the state fare for the second day in a row! I love the state fare! It was so much fun!! When we went Friday night we met up with our good friend Mike. Well at the fare there was the Big Yellow Slide, and I have always wanted to go down it! So we decided to go for it! Well it was the worst idea we everrrr had!! Haha here is the story...we sit down to head down the slide and somehow my WEDDING RING slips off my finger and gets caught in the cracks of the slide, as I'm frantically trying to grab it I start going down the slide and can't stop myself. I start yelling to Mike to get it and he frantically tries to get it out but couldn't either. So we get to the bottom of the slide and NO ONE has my ring!! I was freaking out, almost in tears!! We told the lady at the bottom what happened and she starting yelling and jumping up and down trying to get the attention of the people up at the top of the slide. So finally the guy slides down and guess what he has in his hand??? MY RING!!! I was so happy about it I gave him a hug! Haha I was so scared that I had lost it for good! Haha I will never go on that slide again!! :)
But anyways...the rest of the night and the next day at the fare were really fun! Mike's sister has a lamb at the fair that she sold! She did a really good job! :)
Overall this weekend was a really good weekend! We had a lot of fun! Best weekend in a long time!
