Shad and I met at the beginning of March 2009. I was hanging out with our mutual friend Jake and we went to Shad's house to hang out with him and his friend Marc (confusing I know). We didn't talk very much while I was down there. But the next day Shad texted me and said he wanted to get to know me better and if we could hang out that night. Of course I said yes. We started hanging out pretty much every day. A week later I left for California for a week. While I was gone Shad and I talked every day. We got to know each other pretty well while I was gone, so when I got back Shad and I made our relationship "official" (March 17). We dated for 6 months then decided to get married. Shad proposed on September 1, 2009. He picked me up from school then drove me up to Bridal Veil Falls. He was trying to get us up there before the sunset so we could watch it. But we missed it by 10 minutes. But he wanted to walk up to falls anyways, when we got up there I was so ready to go home. But he handed me his cell phone and told me to hold it towards him so he could get something out of his pocket. He pulled the ring box out of his pocket and got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes. :) It was so cute and wonderful! It was perfect in every way possible.

I thought you two made it official in April?? This is a really cute blog though, I like it a lot. It's really cute. I love you. You two are such an adorable couple. I'm really glad that you found somebody that makes you so very happy and completes you in every way. It makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteI'm a dork and thought it was in April until Shad corrected me and reminded me that it was right after I got home from California in March not April. I don't pay much attention I guess. Oh well though.
