♥ THE BOND FAMILY ♥: 6 Months!

Hayzen turned 6 months on February 6th! This past month has been so fun! He's getting bigger and bigger every day, trying new things, moving around a ton and smiling at everything. We love our little monster more than anything in the world, and are so lucky to be his parents.

Hayzen has done a lot this month. He's started scooting around....he's starting to figure out how to get his knees up under him. But he mostly likes to dig his toes into the floor and kick off! It's so funny to watch him!

He started sitting up on his own a few weeks ago, he still falls down sometimes when he gets really excited about something. But it's fun to see him sit on the floor and play with his toys.

Since he's started scooting around, we have had to make some big changes in our routine with him. I'm so used to leaving him on my bed while I'm getting dressed or cleaning up. Well now I can't do that, because he likes to scoot himself to the edge of the bed! Silly boy! We also had to put a gate up by the stairs because he tries to follow me down them. Also with him being very mobile now, we have toys scattered EVERYWHERE!! haha he moves them all over the front room! It's hard to keep up with him now! At church he crawls under the chairs to the people sitting behind us. He's so fast that it's hard for me to catch him before he's gone! It's a good thing everyone at church loves him! ;)

As I posted before, we started giving him baby food. He loves it now! He eats so much! So far his favorites are...Bananas and Peaches. He also got to taste Pancakes, Fries, and Bread! But only a TINY bit of each...once. I don't want to give him to much table food yet. We still have a lot of first foods to get through before we get to table top foods!

I bough him some little snacks that taste like sweet potatoes and bananas, he loves picking them up and eating them all on his own! He's started using a sippy cup with a little bit of watered down pear juice to help his body digest the food! He loves it. But I think he's ready to move on from the training sippy cup to the big boy sippy cup!

Since he's become so mobile it's been hard to keep him in his bumbo to feed him. SO I ordered him a highchair!! I'm so excited for it to be here! Since he's sitting up on his own so well now, I know he'll love it! He'll be high enough to see us and everything around him! And I will be able to strap him in so he can't turn around and make it impossible to feed him...hahaha
