2 weeks alone...

Well today Shad left for AT (Annual Training) for 2 weeks! We have never been apart this long before and I'm not handling it very well and it's only the first day he's been gone! I have been so onry with like everyone! But then I watched one of my favorite shows...Burn Notice and it made me happy again! And I have these wonderful friends whose husbands are also gone at AT that I will be hanging out with a ton these next few weeks! Thanks guys! Tomorrow starts the fun with a movie night with Tiff! I love this girl so much, she is so funny and cute. Her husband Jay and Shad went to Iraq together so they are pretty good friends and that's how Tiff and I met. :) A little secret...Shad and I totally copied her wedding reception theme! Haha we got the idea with the fence from them and the cowboy theme. Haha of course we put our own twist on things, but it all started from going to there wedding in September! I do have to say that it is amazing how fast you become friends with other military wives! I have another friend Megan who I will be going to lunch with on Monday or the next Monday, we haven't decided yet. But we met through her husband Ben who is in Shad's unit. And the moment we met we clicked! They came to our wedding and I went to her baby shower! Now I just need to see this new baby! :) haha I love the connection I have with these ladies! I don't feel alone ever because I know that there is always someone in the same boat as me or worse!

With Shad being gone I get really emotional and I feel really bad for anyone around me because I can't control a lot of it! But I have been working on it and I have decided that if I keep to myself or just stay busy with other things it helps a lot! I think that anyone who has been apart from there husband or wife can agree with that. It keeps my mind off of the fact that he's gone because I'm so busy with other things! My cousin Kim said something to me about being supportive of Shad and his military career, she said something to the effect that I need to be proud of myself because I'm doing something to, with supporting him I am doing something just as important as he is by serving our country. I totally agree with this and am so happy that she told me this because I have never really thought about it that way before. But it's so true!

But all in all I think I will survive these 2 weeks without Shad because of the great friends I have and my family. :)

Oh and by the way! I have 6 puppies for sale! They are pure bread Border Collies and are super cute and fun! If you or someone you know wants a puppy send them my way! They are great house/outdoor dogs! They are great Cow dogs too, for those of you who know what that is! The mom and dad are very well trained and the pups already show signs off it! They are taking after their parents very well in that area! We have 1 girl and the rest are boys. They are tri colored, white, black and brown. So cute!! :)

This is one of the boys. :)

They LOVE running around the yard and playing!

This is the little girl! So freaking cute! :)
